Joe Stephans
Managing Producer
Joe began his career during New York’s independent film wave of the 90’s and has worked on over 30 films along with countless TV shows and commercials. In a variety of environments, ranging from the Virgin Islands to Alaska…whether it is the ultra low budget (Girls Town), the mid-budget (Requiem For A Dream) or the colossal budget (The Good Shepherd), Joe has been helping filmmakers achieve their vision for twenty years. Joe is the Producer of the critically acclaimed feature (Wildlike), is currently in post-production on (The Outside Story) and is in pre-production and in development on several independent films. He lives with his wife in Brooklyn where he occasionally still laces up the skates and plays the guitar, though never at the same time.
Leigh Anne Sides
Senior Editor & Director
Leigh Anne served on the post production team for Academy Award Winner for Best Documentary Feature 2007, Taxi to the Dark Side and edited the forthcoming feature documentary, Tiger City, about architect Louis Kahn’s masterpiece, the Bangladesh Parliamentary complex. Leigh Anne is an editor/producer for PBS’s Amanpour & Co, has edited for two seasons of Exposé: America’s Investigative Reports and was the series editor for the first season of Retro Report for The New York Times. She has also edited shows for A&E, The History Channel, Discovery and many other major broadcast and cable networks. Leigh Anne has nine Emmy nominations and a Ciné Golden Eagle. She is currently directing a feature film based on her short, Myrtle Simpson.
Andrew Cahill
Creative PRODUCER
Andrew is a Peabody Award-winning editor and producer. Andrew brings twenty years of production & post-production experience to the business as well as 25 years of management experience. His clients include CNN, ABC, Disney, Time, UBS, McKinsey and others. Andrew produced the independent films, Last Night in Rozzie, 18 to Party and Brother, as well as the short documentary Myrtle Simpson: A Life on Ice. He also produced the off-broadway play, Mother, starring Buck Henry and Holland Taylor.
Bill Walker
Creative Director
Bill has an MFA in painting from Yale University School of Art and BA from The Art Institute of Chicago. He has been included in group and solo shows at various New York Galleries. Amateur accordion player. Author of many plays and novels. God Bless Tiny Tim was one of the four records Bill grew up listening to in the early ‘70s. The other three were Elvis’s Golden Hits, Sgt. Pepper, and the soundtrack to Cabaret. He’s been dealing with psychic repercussions ever since.
Mary Jo Verruto
Director of DevElopment
Mary Jo is a classically trained musician and actor. She received her BFA in Musical Theatre from the Hartt School. In addition to her original solo theater works, she has been a teaching artist for several years at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, and ran a popular children’s program called Stomp and Shout before that.
Rafael Cruz

Rafael Cruz brings over 15 years of professional experience to the table as a video editor, motion graphics designer and all-around multimedia specialist. His career began with MLB.com and he has since worked for The Onion, Off Hollywood, Money.net, and Rapp Collins, creating web-content, commercials, music videos, and more.
Edgar Cahill
DIT & IT Manager
Edgar is a computer wiz who takes care of the back end here at CB. He is our Digital Intermediary and office IT administrator. Edgar is an avid gamer and programmer.
Edward Cahill
General counsel
Edward Cahill has over twenty years of experience in writing and editing as well as legal expertise. He holds a Law degree from Tulane Law School and a BA from Emory University. He also pursued graduate studies in creative writing and English literature at the City College of New York, where he was editor of the literary journal, Promethean. Edward has worked in advertising as a copywriter. He writes fiction, poetry, and drama. Edward is admitted to the NY Bar.
